Animal welfare
We follow the guidelines of the American Humane Society and our common sense, based on the knowledge of each of the animals, as we spend the whole day with them.
All the animals receive a balanced diet, sanitary controls, regular exercise according to their age and physical condition, daily handling and occupation and / or change of environment.
I, the farm manager, am a collegiate veterinarian and have been working on big camel farms for 12 years before launching this company. Beside the health, I am also very concerned about the welfare of our animals. We do not perform any action that could harm their health. The old dromedaries are kept on the farm, not sold nor given away. They have a controlled schedule of activities along the day, including regular contact with the public and long resting times. We try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Each camel is different, therefor not all of them are suitable for the same job. We choose the most appropriate animals for each role.
